In 1964,SAPICI was the first Italian industry to produce,with its own technology,isocyanic polymers for paint production.In 1968,it beats its competitors using isophorondiisocyanate in the production of polyurethane resins for the car body repairs.
In 1980,first in the world,they began the production of polyurethane resins for diphenylmetandiisocyanate paints with excellent applications properties.today SAPICI has betted even higher stakes-that of protecting public health by reducing to a minimum the percentage of free monomers.
This bet has practically been won due to major technological and productive innovations,culminating,in 1987,with the construction of the new SAPICI complex in Cernusco sul Naviglio
